It is my personnel opinion that shoot out at Aurora, Colorado during the show was the one of the factor which gave the boost to the movie. Of course, it was a very sad incident which took the lives of 12 innocent people and injured more than 55 but it was also the first incident of its own kind in the history of the cinemas and first shows of the movies. Warner Bro. also suspended its marketing campaign of the movie in many parts of the world but it did not disturb the popularity of the movie. So, peoples' interest increased after this incident and resultantly every eager person wanted to go to the cinema.
